ITINERARY
Meeting Point: Beira Tours, Castelo Branco, Portugal (or another location to be agreed) Our office is located inside the Nuno Álvares Shopping Center, right in front of the Tourist Office. A trip that promises to be a journey full of magical and breathtaking scenery, departing from the charming city of Castelo Branco towards the largest mountain range in mainland Portugal, ready to surprise you at every turn along the way.
Towards the Tower:
Landscapes that inspire...Departing towards the Tower, there are mandatory stopping points.
The first is the renovated Varanda dos Carqueijais, a viewpoint that, through a suspended walkway, reveals the beauty of Cova da Beira. The second is Nossa Senhora da Boa Estrela, located in Covão do Boi, it was carved into the rock and is 7m high. After these unmissable stops, it's time to enjoy the snow! We will take a 2 hours break to enjoy the panoramic views, play in the snow and taste some of the local delicacies.
Manteigas:
Hidden treasures!Nestled at the base of the Zêzere River Glacier Valley, Manteigas is a magical place, with its picturesque streets, traditional houses and notable religious landmarks, which make up an urban and natural heritage of singular beauty. p>
Here, many natural treasures hide waiting to be discovered. Throughout this journey, we discover some of these places, such as the stunning Waterfall, in Poço do Inferno or the serene Covão d’Ametade, where the Zêzere river begins to take shape.
Return to Castelo Branco: Memories of a unique trip It's time to return to Castelo Branco. As we travel peacefully by car, we remember the unforgettable moments of this day full of stunning landscapes and magical places. These memories will be eternalized, with the certainty that this incredible trip could not have been any different.
