Conditions and Regulation

Article 1 - Purpose

The purpose of this contract is to define the conditions and civil responsibilities of customers who enter into temporary contracts with CÁTIA GOMES for the rental and use of bicycles.

Article 2 - Rental conditions

a) Bicycle rental operates on the following schedule from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
b) CÁTIA GOMES offers helmets and padlocks when renting bicycles. The use of the helmet is the responsibility of the customer. We decline any responsibility if an accident occurs.
c) At the time of the rental, this contract/term of responsibility will be signed by the parties and, in the case of minors, by the person responsible, with the customer's data, bicycle model, the condition in which it is and the rental period.
d) The customer must always make prudent use of the bicycle, in order to maintain its good conservation, operation and safety.
e) You will not be able to transport third parties on the bicycle, transfer it or with it participate in any type of sporting events or similar situations.
f) Minors under 18 may rent if parents or guardians are present and sign a release.
g) CATIA GOMES reserves the right to refuse bicycle rental:
a. Who does not present valid documentation;
b. Anyone who is visibly under the influence of alcohol or another substance;
c. To those who do not offer a guarantee of prudent use and care of the bicycle;
d. To anyone who has previously violated the rental conditions.
h) Hire of children's bicycles and baby seat, available and subject to reservation.

Article 3 - Breakdowns

In case of any type of equipment malfunction, the customer must immediately notify CÁTIA GOMES and deliver the bicycle to the store.

Article 4 - Prices and Deposits

a) The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the rented goods, as well as for the total or partial loss of the same and must deliver the goods in the same condition as they were received, at the risk of being assigned additional debts according to the table below. . To ensure this situation, all bicycles are subject to a deposit.
b) The value of the bicycle deposit is €200 or, optionally, the customer is subject to retention of an official photo identification document (Driver's License or Passport).

Article 5 - Delivery

a) The customer must deliver the rented bicycle, helmet and padlock at the BEIRATOURS store.
b) Failure to return the rented bicycle will give rise to the filing of a criminal complaint for the practice of theft against the person responsible for the contract concluded between the parties.
c) If the bicycle is stolen from the customer, the customer must immediately file a criminal complaint with the police authorities, being responsible for paying the value of the bicycle.
d) In cases of partial damage to the equipment, the customer is subject to payment of the cost of repair/replacement of the defective component.

Article 6 - Final Provisions

The customer confirms that he is aware of the risks inherent in the use of the material in question, so that the rental of the bicycle to the customer does not imply any civil liability or personal accident insurance on the part of CÁTIA GOMES, the responsibility being the customer.

Article 7 - Additional Debts

For any component or accessory, the PVP value of the same will be assigned after consultation at the Amieiro Bikes store.
